Product Description
Mold Opening Table KFM
The KFM series mold opening system from MEPAC Engineering is a robust and safe solution for the ergonomic opening, rotation, and inspection of heavy injection molds. Designed for toolrooms and plastic molding facilities, it enables easy separation and controlled rotation of mold halves up to 20,000 kg in weight.
The system consists of a fixed and a movable work plate, both mounted on a solid steel frame. Both plates can be rotated 360° for optimal working access, allowing technicians to carry out maintenance, cleaning, and repairs efficiently and safely. Mechanical locking pins and rail stops prevent unintended movement or rotation during operation.
Although stationary in design, the KFM system can be quickly repositioned using a forklift or pallet truck thanks to its compact base and balanced construction. This makes it an ideal addition to both fixed workstations and dynamic maintenance environments.
